What is Pixelcandy?

Pixelcandy is a dedicated gaming lounge where you can play on high-end gaming PCs without owning one. Simply book a station online, arrive, and start playing.

Do I need to bring anything?

No. Everything you need to play is provided.

However, you are welcome to bring your own peripherals if you prefer.

This includes:

  • keyboards

  • mice

  • headsets

  • controllers

Can I bring my own keyboard, mouse or controller?

Yes. Many players prefer their own peripherals, and you are welcome to use them at Pixelcandy.

All equipment must be compatible with our systems and safe to connect.

What games are available?

We offer a wide selection of popular PC games including competitive titles and multiplayer games.

Available games may change over time as new titles are released.

Are the games age appropriate?

Yes.

When a player registers with Pixelcandy, their age is recorded. Our systems can be configured so that only age-appropriate games are displayed for younger players.

Players under 16 must be registered by a parent or guardian who agrees to our registration and GDPR policies.

Can children play at Pixelcandy?

Yes. Younger gamers are welcome.

However:

  • Players under 16 must be registered by a parent or guardian.

  • Parents or guardians must agree to our policies during registration.

Do I need to book in advance?

No.  However booking is strongly recommended, particularly during busy periods.

Walk-ins may be available if PCs are free, but booking guarantees your gaming station.

Are you open at weekends?

Yes.

We often open later on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays when players are booked in and wish to continue gaming.

Bookings are required to play after 7pm.

Can I play with my friends?

Absolutely.

You can book multiple PCs at the same time and play alongside friends.

Group sessions are one of the most popular ways to enjoy Pixelcandy.

Do you offer memberships?

Yes.

Memberships provide better value for regular players and may include perks such as priority booking and discounts.

Do you offer gaming parties?

Yes.

Pixelcandy offers gaming party packages which are ideal for birthdays and group celebrations.

What happens when I arrive?

When you arrive:

  1. Check in with a member of staff

  2. Take your allocated gaming station

  3. Log into your accounts and start playing.  Time can be purchased from a member of staff or directtly through the gaming station.

Our team is always available to help if needed.

Can I bring food or drinks?

We may allow certain drinks at gaming stations. Food policies may vary to protect equipment.

Please check with staff before bringing food into the gaming area.

What happens if I damage equipment?

Players are expected to treat all equipment with care.

Deliberate damage or misuse may result in charges for repair or replacement and will result in a permanent ban.
